[ She purses her lips, although it goes unseen the way her body is turned toward the shelf, and then grabs an adrenaline shot off of it. ]

[ Zoey hastens her steps to catch up and fall into Tucker's pace. ]

Guess we'll just enjoy the silence of each other's company or something.

[ Tucker just… sighs. ] Look, until this whole zombie thing happened, I lived on my own. I’m a loner. A recluse.

Fighting for our lives hasn’t exactly gotten me used to social niceties, yeah? So sorry if I’m not the most chatty guy around.

[ Zoey opens her mouth, ready to fire back with a feisty remark or something along those lines, but after a moment she just... closes it. Seeing as she's stuck with this guy for the foreseeable future, probably, it might not be a good idea to piss him off more. ]

[ And then as though on cue, there are sounds of movement, and of trudging about just beyond where they are. A little bit of that trademark zombie groaning, too, if they listen closely enough. ]

[ Tucker frowns, edging towards the doorway leading to the rest of the building. From just beyond comes a rasping, hacking cough, and Tucker hisses out a curse. ]

Fuck those fucking things.
